It's been a privileged opportunity (if not somewhat hard work!) to have designed and established these MSc programmes, in conjunction with colleagues and external organisations (especially Office for National Statistics and Welsh Government). The hard work of all the teaching and admin staff involved with these programmes, and the innovative content and structure, was recognised through the award of the Cardiff University 2011 Innovation Prize

  • Mark Tuson (modellling the obesity epidemic, with Aneurin Bevan UHB)
  • Emily Williams (blood services and supply chains, with Welsh Blood Service)
